《現代海洋英語閱讀教程》以英語為載體，在人
文和社科視角下詮釋海洋及海洋文明。本教程旨在幫
助學生掌握與海洋科學相關的英語語言知識，對促進
21世紀海洋科學和海洋經濟的發展具有重要的現實意
義。本教程適用於高校英語專業及涉海類專業學生，
是將海洋科學與語言文化融為一體的英語教材。
本教程由“海洋經濟”和“海洋文化”兩冊構成
，包括海洋概述、海洋漁業、水產品貿易、海洋工業
、海洋運輸、海洋與人類、海洋文學、海洋旅遊、海
洋法政、海洋管理等十章。每冊五章，每章三個單元
，每個單元分別包括A、B兩篇課文及詞彙、短語、專
業術語、專有名詞、注釋、練習和趣味短篇故事。郭
艷玲、龍靖遙主編的《現代海洋英語閱讀教程(海洋
文化)》以海洋文化為依托，使學生在獲取海洋知識
信息的基礎上習得英語，拓寬學生海洋科學視野和思
路，擴大海洋英語詞彙及文體特征等繫統知識量，提
高學生綜合應用海洋英語的能力，以滿足我國日益增
長的海洋經濟發展和國際交流與合作的需要。
本教程有利於提高學生英語語言綜合應用能力，
