《新體驗大學英語閱讀教程》（以下簡稱“本套教材”）是在習近平新時代中國特色社會主義思想指導下，為全面落實黨中央提出的“立德樹人”教育要求編寫的教材。本套教材參照國家最新頒布的《中國英語能力等級量表》，針對目前大學生因缺乏閱讀理解策略而造成閱讀效率普遍低下的現實，內容設置上均以技能為導向，並采用當前國內外英語閱讀能力測試最新題型，旨在提高大學生的英語閱讀水平。本套教材共分為《新體驗大學英語閱讀教程1》《新體驗大學英語閱讀教程2》兩冊，每冊各。其編寫特色如下：
