前言 前言
燈工工藝在中國有著久遠的歷史,戰國的蜻蜓眼玻璃珠即是此古老精湛技藝的體現。進入現代,山東淄博市發展了一整套獨有的燈工玻璃生產技術,主要以瓜果草蟲為題材,深受人們的喜愛。河北河間市則是從以儀器玻璃生產為主逐漸轉向日用玻璃生產領域。藝術院校開展燈工玻璃藝術教學則是近幾年的事。
前言
燈工工藝在中國有著久遠的歷史,戰國的蜻蜓眼玻璃珠即是此古老精湛技藝的體現。進入現代,山東淄博市發展了一整套獨有的燈工玻璃生產技術,主要以瓜果草蟲為題材,深受人們的喜愛。河北河間市則是從以儀器玻璃生產為主逐漸轉向日用玻璃生產領域。藝術院校開展燈工玻璃藝術教學則是近幾年的事。
今天,作為日用玻璃生產,河間人意識到設計已經是制約企業發展的主要瓶頸。企業若想實現品牌的提升,必須創造出具有自身文化特色和當代實用性的產品設計。院校的教學,則是這一時代需求的體現,其人纔培養有望滿足社會的急需,並創造出更具藝術性的燈工作品,向社會展示精湛的技藝和各種創造性的可能。燈工工藝易於學習和掌握,對工具、設備和操作空間要求較低,因此,目前燈工課程在國內各院校玻璃教學中深受學生歡迎。基於這樣一個發展的時代背景,企業和院校勢必會走到一起。舉辦燈工玻璃藝術的展覽,對於增進校企合作和校際學術交流都具有現實意義。因此,河間市政府為推動地方經濟發展,大力支持此類學術活動,並希望將此活動列為當地定期舉辦的有國際影響力的交流盛會。也因此,展覽的名稱擴大為“國際燈工玻璃藝術節”。初次舉辦這樣大型的活動自然困難重重,然而,在各方積極的努力和工作下,藝術節得以成功舉辦。全國共有418件作品報名,經過兩輪評審,評選出入圍作品83件,獲獎作品26件。另有來自美國、澳大利亞、日本、加拿大,以及國內主要藝術家的25件作品受邀參展。活動期間,中外藝術家、工藝美術大師還為觀眾進行了精彩的工藝演示和學術演講,使參觀者對燈工藝術在當今世界發展的現狀有了較全面的了解。兩晚輕松的研討會也為藝術家們能夠更深入地交流提供了機會。
這次國際燈工玻璃藝術節的成功舉辦,是國內燈工玻璃藝術專項學術活動的重要開端,對推動燈工玻璃藝術教學與設計、加強校企合作和國際學術交流具有十分重要的意義,勢必對未來的工作產生深遠的影響。

Foreword
Lampwork craftsmanship has a long history in China, the glass drops of dragonfly eye in the Warring States period are the embodiment of the ancient exquisite skill. In modern times, an unique lamp glass production technology has been developed in Zibo City, Shandong Province, mainly with subject matter of melon, fruit, grass and insect, which are deeply loved by people. Hebei Hejian City is gradually turning from the glass production of instrument to the field of daily glass production. Carrying out the teaching of craft glass art in art colleges and universities is a matter of recent years.
Today, as daily glass production, Hejian people realize that design has been the main bottleneck that restrict the development of enterprises. If the enterprises want to realize the promotion of their brand, they must create products designed with its own cultural characteristics and contemporary practicability. Teaching of colleges and universities is the embodiment of the needs in the times, because its talent training is expected to meet the urgent needs of the society and to create more artistic lamp works, showing the exquisite skills and various creative possibilities to the society. Lamp art skill is easy to learn and master with lower requirements for tools, equipment and operating space. Therefore, the lamp craft course is popular with students in glass teaching in various colleges and universities in China at present. Based on such a background of development, enterprises and colleges are bound to hold hands. It is of practical significance to hold an exhibition of lamp glass art to enhance the cooperation between schools and enterprises and academic exchanges between schools. Therefore, in order to promote local economic development, the Hejian City Government strongly supported such academic activities and hopes to list this event as an internationally influential exchange event regularly held in local, this idea led to the result that the name of the exhibition was expanded to “International Lamp Glass Art Festival”. It was difficult to hold such a large-scale event for the first time. However, thanks to the active efforts and works of all parties, the festival was successfully held. A total of 418 works were enlisted in the whole country. After two rounds of evaluation, 83 works were selected and 26 were awarded. In addition, there were 25 works from the United States, Australia, Japan, Canada, as well as works of major domestic artists invited to participate in the exhibition. During the activity, Chinese and foreign artists and masters of arts and crafts also gave wonderful craftwork presentation and academic speeches to the audience, which enabled visitors to have a more comprehensive understanding of the current situation of the development of lamp art in today’s world. The two-night relaxing seminar also provided an opportunity for artists to make in-depth exchange.
The successful holding of this International Lamp and Glass Art Festival is an important beginning of special academic activity on the art of lamp glass in China. It is great significance to promote the teaching and design of lamp glass art, strengthen the cooperation between schools and enterprises, and to benefit international academic exchanges at the same time, which is certain to have a profound impact on future work.
