A Glossary in English and Chinese References 查看全部↓ 前言/序言 經過近一年的努力,《新編簡明英語語言學教程》(第二版)終於付梓,與讀者見面了。 《新編簡明英語語言學教程》(第二版)的前身是《簡明英語語言學教程》(1984年)。上海外國語大學是國內率先給本科生開設語言學課程並編寫出版語言學教材的學校之一。《簡明英語語言學教程》在繫統介紹語言學基礎理論知識的同時,考慮到了教學實踐的需求,在編寫中突出了“簡明、易懂、實用”的特點,兼之語言流暢、內容豐富,涵蓋了語言學的主要分支和理論,問世以後受到了廣大教師和學生的歡迎。該書累計印刷24次,出版近20萬冊。 在此基礎上,我們編寫了《新編簡明英語語言學教程》(2002年版)。《新編簡明英語語言學教程》秉承了《簡明英語語言學教程》的“簡明、易懂、實用”的特點,在介紹語言學各領域一些最新研究成果的同時,力求做到簡明扼要,方便使用。該書在出版後得到許多教師與學生的歡迎,並被列入“普通高等教育‘十五’和‘十一五’國家級規劃教材”和“新世紀高等院校英語專業本科生繫列教材”。自2002年發行以來,該書已累計印刷了34次,逾45萬冊。 彈指一揮間,幾年又過去了,而語言學在此期間發展迅速。一方面,語言學各分支向縱深發展;另一方面.語言學與眾多的學科建立起聯繫,向跨學科發展已成了語言學發展的一個潮流。隨著語言科學的發展,語言學的應用範圍越來越廣,語言學的重要性日益彰顯。在此期間,我們也曾收到了一些教師和讀者的來信,問詢一些內容,或指出個別文字上的不足,在此我們深表謝意,同時也深感再次修訂該書已迫在眉睫。 在修訂的過程中,我們依然堅持“簡明、易懂、實用”的特點。在內容上,我們主要注重語言學基礎理論知識的更新和充實,不求大而全。第二版的《新編簡明英語語言學教程》在第一章、第三章、第六章、第七章、第十章和第十二章都增加了新的內容,作了一些比較大的改動,個別章節如第三章的框架結構有較大調整,其他章節作了個別文字勘誤和改進。對練習作了一些更新和增補,其目的是希望學生能夠嘗試應用所學的理論知識對一些語言素材進行分析,在使學生對語言和語言學有更多感性認識的同時,培養他們獨立分析問題和解決問題的能力。此外,第二版教程增加了一個新的部分,即在每個章節的後面,有選擇地附上三、四個閱讀書目,有的是專著中的章節,有的是學術論文,希望在培養學生語言學學習興趣的同時,既為廣大的教師提供一些課外補充材料,也為一些愛鑽研的同學深入學習提供一定的方便。 自1984年以來,國內高等院校陸續為本科生開設了語言學課程,2000年教育部頒布的英語專業教學大綱則把語言學課程列入英語專業高年級的專業必修課,其重要性不言而喻。然而語言學是一門理論性強、與其他課相比較為抽像的課程。我們希望該書能一如既往地為眾多的同學提供簡單明了、內容時新的入門知識,培養學生的學習興趣,方便教師在教學中使用,能夠繼續為語言學教學作出一點綿薄的貢獻。 在《新編簡明英語語言學教程》(第二版)問世之際,我們衷心地希望廣大的教師與讀者一如既往地支持和使用這本書。由於我們學識有限,修訂過程中的一些不足之處,懇請廣大師生不吝賜教,指正批評。 查看全部↓
